RSBot Guide.

Hello fellow Runescaper's we (Tom and Laurens) decided to write a guide about "Rsbot" To help you guys a bit out; enjoy

This guide containts:
1) How to download Rsbot.
2) How to add scripts to Rsbot.
2) How to update RsBot with SNV

1) Rsbot

-What is Rsbot?
RSbot is a Java based Bot that automates Tedious actions in a game known to many as "RuneScape".

-How to get Rsbot?
Step 1: Go to http://www.Rsbot.org
Step 2: Click the "forums" button and register there.
Step 3: Go to the Forum: Updates then open the topic: Rsbot Update "....." (For the lazy people: http://www.rsbot.org/vb/showthread.php?t=35)
Step 4: Download the latest version and extract it to you'r desktop. (Note: You do need WinRar to extract .Rar files)*1
Step 5: When you downloaded and extracted the file you need to click: "Compile.bat"; this compiles all scripts.

Step 6: When you are done compiling, click "Play/Play Free.bat".


2) Adding New scripts to you'r Rsbot.


Step 1: Go to http://www.Rsbot.org aigan and go to the "Scripting" Forum.
Step 2: Click the Sub Forum you would like a script from. (For example: Cooking and Fishing/ Melee/ Etc.)
Step 3 Once you are in a Sub Forum, find a script you would like to have and click on the topic.
Step 4: In the topic you will find a BB code with (most likeley a lot of text in it).


Step 5: Open Notepad and copy the Code and paste it in Notepad.
Step 6: Once you copy - pasted the text in you'r Notepad press Ctrl + F; and search for [u]Public Class; Behind Public Class you will see the name of the script. Copy it. (Picture below)


Step 7: Now? You have copy'd the name of the script? Press File - Save as and copy the name of the script in the bar with ".java" Behind it. (Example: GuildfisherLobs.java). And Save it in you'r Rsbot folder at "Scripts"


Step 8: Now, Press the "Compile.bat" button aigan and wait untill it's done. If it's done and you look in you'r "Scripts" folder you should see this:


Step 9: Now click "Play/Play Free.bat" and enjoy Botting on Runescape! Get those 99's!


3)Wtf? My compiler doesn't work!?

In this section, Ill explain how to get you'r compiler working. If you get this it means ur compiler doesn't work.

Step 1: You will have to download JDK wich you can find here: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Download the Jdk latest update.


Step 2:
-Right click My Computer
-Click Properties,
-Click Advanced System Settings (If you are on XP, skip this step)
-Click Advanced Tab
-Click Environmental Variables
- In the system variables box (second box), scroll down and double-click 'Path'
- Paste your JDK/bin at the end, make sure it has an ';' after the previous.
E.G ;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_11\bin

Note: Some information about the compiling error's are taken from Rsbot.com.


4)Rsbot with SVN

New update to this topic: How to Update "RsBot" with SNV
You need to click on the "RsBot" folder or were you saved your bot: Right click with muose and you shuold she this


This will mean that your "RsBot" is on date and you can play...

I was thinkin bout doing that ^^.

I got to lvl 30 Wcing from 1; and got tired because the scripts weren't functioning properly. I was also dieing from the wizards near draynor when I was trying to powerwillow.

You just have to know where to power willow on low lvls like near docks at port sarim go there ^^.

sorry guys this should be closed not safe anymore after the runescape updates detects any clients that are being used for rs so... rs bot is going to be down for a while... sorry =/

It its fine you can still bot. im mking a topic in a sec to talk about that anyways.

I'm keeping it up still, it's whoever downloads its risk.

good guide very helpful just becareful when botting.
